Walking in God's Plan

Genesis 1:3-4

"And God said, Let there be light: and there was light.  And God saw the light, that it was good."

There are certain moments in our lives that we experience a transition. Each transition comes with a new set of goals, objectives, and ambitions. Whether you have decided to pursue an advanced degree, start a workout regimen, or develop a financial budget; each transition has a beginning and an end. Throughout the first chapter of Genesis, we see the phrases, “and God said... and God saw...” These words of God are profound in that nothing God said mattered until God saw what He had begun. In Genesis 1:31, God saw His manifestation, the creation of His handiwork that he was able to evaluate and determine, “it was very good”.

From a spiritual standpoint, we can testify about what we plan to do and how we will serve those in need, but we must push forward in our witnessing for our spiritual gain. God wants to see consistency in us to bring about fruition.  We won’t develop the “power” within to actually see out endeavors through until we effectively seek and embrace God’s divine purpose overall for our lives.

When you come upon a life transition, ask God to bless what He has planned for you and for a tenacious resolve for carrying out your assignment with discipline and consistency. Act upon your goals, objectives and ambitions by speaking them into existence. It is then, that we will see the pure manifestation of those moments in our lives and hear God say, “It is very good!”
